This is the result of a wet album being closed, either due to splashes of water or another liquid. The only solution is to replace the album block. The cost of such a repair is the cost of an additional spread in the album’s format multiplied by the number of spreads (+ any extra spreads) and shipping costs. It's worth advising clients not to handle albums with wet or dirty hands.
