I have a line in the middle of the album

Appearance of a blue line on the crease.

The crease is the area where the spread is folded in half and connects with the other spreads in the project to form the spine of the album. In the photo below, this area is indicated by blue arrows.

Sometimes a slight blue discoloration may appear on the photo in this area under light. This line is caused by the emulsion on the photographic paper. It is applied in batches by the paper manufacturer and is changed periodically. On some batches of emulsion, this blue line may appear along the crease, which is beyond our control and we cannot predict when it might occur.

Our advice:

- If you are concerned about the appearance of the aforementioned line on the album crease, choose templates or photo layouts where no important elements, such as faces, cross the center of the spread.
- If a photo does cross the center of the spread, make sure that no important parts, such as a face, are placed in the crease area.
