What can you use Tablo for?

Tablo is great as:

  • a gift for the end of: kindergarten, school, summer camp
  • a keepsake from a first holy communion
  • a gift for participants of a baptism, wedding, etc.

A finished, trimmed Tablo looks like this:

How to design Tablo?

We start by designing the cover, remembering that the right side is the front of our Tablo. Then, we design the interior.

The blue arrows indicate the bleed areas—so it is extremely important :) to extend the photos/design to the edge of the template (in the space between the lines indicated by the blue arrows and the edges of the template, the design must be present; you cannot leave a thin white border there!).

Remember not to place important elements of your design (e.g., text) outside the inner lines indicated by the red arrow!

(The example below shows screenshots from Photoshop, which is why a black frame is visible around it.)

Incorrectly designed Tablo cover. In this case, a thin, white, unappealing border may appear around the Tablo after trimming.

Incorrectly designed Tablo interior. In this case, the gray border will be cut off from the top and right side, and the text is placed outside the inner line—the safe area for text and important elements—which can also result in an unappealing appearance of the Tablo and the loss of important elements.
