# Framed calendar — how to order the photo for the frame

You order the framed calendar without a photo — you add the photo for the frame as a separate print in **Prints → Photo prints**, in the same order or later. If you order the calendar alone, it will arrive with an empty window.

The photo slides into the frame from the top of the product.

**Which print size should I order?**

 

| Calendar | Print size for the frame |
| --- | --- |
| Small, 23 x 30 cm | 10x15 |
| Large, 30 x 40 cm | 15x21 or 15x23 |

 

 The print must be in **landscape** orientation.

 

 Step by step

 

1. Choose the framed calendar, its size and frame colour, then add it to the cart.
2. Go to **Prints** and choose **Photo prints**.
3. Choose the print size from the table above that matches your calendar.
4. Choose the **no border** option — a white border or white bands would be visible in the passe-partout window.
5. Upload the photo and add it to the cart.

 

> **Important!** We recommend ordering prints with the **full paper, NO BORDER** option.

 

**How do I prepare the photo?**

 

- Crop the photo exactly to the print size before uploading. What happens to a file with different proportions is explained in [Full paper or full frame?](https://kb.crystal-albums.pl/en/pe%C5%82ny-papier-czy-pe%C5%82ny-kadr).
- The passe-partout slightly covers the edges of the photo. Keep important elements (faces, text) at least about 5 mm from the edge.
