[Express](https://kb.crystal-albums.pl/en/orders-payments#express) # Express Production – How It Works and How Much It Costs Express production is a **paid priority service in our production queue**. Orders placed by 6:00 AM on a business day, with the express service selected and paid for, will be dispatched from our facility on the same business day. The surcharge depends on two factors: **the value of your order** and **the time of year you place it**. How much does it cost? **The higher the order value, the lower the percentage surcharge.** The reason is simple: rearranging our production schedule requires the same amount of effort whether an order contains three prints or three hundred. With larger orders, that effort is spread across a higher order value. Below are example rates, which may change depending on the season: | Order value | Surcharge | Example | | --- | --- | --- | | PLN 100 and above | +50% | PLN 340 order → approx. PLN 170 surcharge | | PLN 50 and above | +100% | PLN 76 order → approx. PLN 76 surcharge | | PLN 10 and above | +200% | PLN 32 order → approx. PLN 64 surcharge | | Below PLN 10 | +500% | PLN 4 order → approx. PLN 21 surcharge | **You'll see the exact surcharge in your account before confirming your order.** We don't have a separate price list for orders placed over the phone, nor do we offer different rates for existing and new customers. The surcharge covers the additional work involved in rearranging our production schedule and, when necessary, overtime for our production team. How to select express production You can select express production yourself when placing an order through your account. **There's no need to call, contact customer support or request a separate quote.** 1. Place your order as usual. 2. Select the express production option in your shopping cart. The surcharge will be calculated automatically, and you'll see the exact amount before confirming your order. 3. Your order enters our production queue with priority status. You'll receive a tracking number by email once the courier collects your parcel, just as you would with a standard order. What express production does NOT speed up Express production shortens **our part of the process**: manufacturing, quality control and packaging. **Express production does not speed up courier delivery.** Delivery times depend on the courier company and are the same as for standard orders. In approximately 95% of cases, courier companies deliver parcels on the next business day after collection from our facility. However, delivery may take up to 3 business days. Unfortunately, we have no control over these delays, as they depend on the courier company's workload. Which products are eligible? Express production availability is displayed in your shopping cart. If the service is available for your order, you'll see the option and its price during checkout. When is express production unavailable? Express production is not available during our scheduled company closures, including summer and Christmas breaks. We announce these dates in advance through your customer account and by email. We may also temporarily disable express production if the number of express orders exceeds our daily production capacity. Express production and the Christmas order deadline **The last day to place an express order in 2026 is December 20.** **Express production remains available after the standard Christmas order deadline.** Because it shortens our production time, it can significantly increase the chances of your order arriving before Christmas. However, **delivery before Christmas is not guaranteed**, as we cannot control courier delivery times during the busiest period of the year. The number of express orders we can accept each day during this period is limited by our production capacity. Once all express production slots for a particular day have been filled, the option will simply disappear from the ordering panel. **A practical tip:** If you're collecting orders from several clients, **submit them in batches rather than waiting until you have them all.** Three standard orders placed in November will cost you less than one express order placed in December. What happens if I receive a damaged product or an incomplete order and need to make a complaint? Every order is covered by our complaints procedure. We treat all complaints as a priority. If a replacement or reprint is required, we will complete it within 3 business days of receiving the complaint.
